From time shifting to ad skipping, digital video recorders (DVRs) are radically changing the TV-viewing experience as consumers take charge of the controls. This report presents the results of Lyra's Internet survey of more than 600 owners of DVRs, including standalone devices such as TiVo and integrated satellite- and cable-TV set-top boxes with DVR functionality.
